The ReTold Histories of Clemson is a collaborative documentary filmmaking project created between Jacob Richter’s four ENG 1030: Composition and Rhetoric sections at Clemson University spanning the 2018-2019 academic year. Sections 79 + 80 worked through Fall 2018 to create their documentaries documenting Clemson’s histories with race, gender and exclusions, as did sections 39 +40 in the Spring of 2019.

Our project guide is available here.

Questions, comments, and concerns may be addressed to: Jacob Richter- (JDRicht@G.Clemson.edu).

Special thanks to Dr. Cynthia Haynes and Dr. Rhondda Thomas for assembling the files concerning Clemson’s history utilized within many of these documentaries.
